2nd Trimester FINAL |
My main focus for this project was drawing hair. I wanted to improve in hair. I drew the Dolan Twins. Ethan (on the left) is the main focus with his hair. I had enough time to add Grayson (on the right) so I did.

Sculptures |
We put plastron in on orange juice container and let it dry overnight. We sketched out an abstract form and carved into it with a butter knife. I thought of an hourglass and moved it around in my head and this is what I got.

Print Making |
In the last picture, there are pictures of the supplies I used for making all of my pieces (a 2x2, a 3x3, and my mountain). We got a piece of wood-like material and carved into it. After doing so, we applied a paste to a piece of plexi glass and rolled it, making sure that we the roller was covered in the paste. Then, I took the roller and rolled it onto the carved wood, making sure that there wasn't too much paste on the wood. After that, I took the wood and placed it on a piece of paper with the pasty side was on the paper. I then took a tool to press it. After pulling it off, it should print the design that you carved into the wood.

Person Drawing
|
I drew Brennen Taylor for this project. We had to learn more in detail on face portions and spacing between the eyes, nose, mouth, etc. I believe I did extremely well though I wish I would have had more time to add more details.

Portraits |
We are working in face proportions

1st Trimester FINAL |
My final for the first trimester is a peregrine falcon. My medium I used is color pencil's.
|
Metal Patterns |
What our class did for this project is we took tools (pictures are provided) and basically carved patterns into the 'metal'. Then we had to take those patterns and emphasize them more on a mat board. The mediums we could have used are color pencils, oil pastels, or paint. I used color pencils.

Watercolor Landscaping |
We stretched out some watercolor paper and used some adhesive tape to make it stick. Next, we are sketching out what landscape we want. Mine is a bird on a tree. The sketch is a cardinal but my actual final landscape is a blue jay.
|
Sketch Book |
I made this sketch book. The process of making it was fun and, at times, irritating;but for the most part, I loved it. The splatter paint is the in-page for the sketch book and the outside.
